    What is a penis plug?

A penis plug is a special sex toy designed for men who are looking for a new sexual experience. As the name suggests, the rod, which measures between three and eight centimetres long, is placed inside the urethra of the penis. There are a lot of nerve endings that are stimulated with the help of the plug. Men who want to experience something different than penetration and masturbation will get their money’s worth with this sex toy!

How do you use a penis plug?

In short, safely. Remember that the urethra is prone to infections, such as to the bladder. That is why your penis plug must always be hygienically cleaned before you insert it. We have a special toy cleaner for that. Another important thing to note: in case of a manufacturing defect, there may be small sharp points at the end. You must check this in advance, otherwise, you may run the risk of irreparably damaging your urethra. If you encounter such a bump, never use the device but return it and ask for a replacement.

If necessary, heat up the penis plug with lukewarm water and spread some water-based lubricant over it. Silicone lubricant has a nasty feature of attacking silicone-based sex toys, which should not happen for hygienic reasons. Also, you do not want to irritate your urinary tract with substances such as glycerine and nonoxynol-9. These are, in any case, not present in a water-based lubricant. The use of saliva as a lubricant substitute is also out of the question, as this dries up far too quickly.

Insert the plug when your penis is not erect. This is a lot easier, and you also run the risk of damaging your urinary tract if you’re erect during insertion. Is penetration going smoothly? Then you can now move your penis plug back and forth and stimulate the nerves on the inside of your urethra. Always urinate after use to make sure that no bacteria are left behind.

Which penis plug models are available?

The most notable differences have to do with the material from which the penis plugs are made. We offer models made of metal as well as silicone. The latter option is often hollow inside. This is important to mention, as you usually have to remove your penis plug as soon as you ejaculate. If the sex toy is hollow, the seminal fluid can simply exit through the opening! Furthermore, some penis plugs have a ring on the outside for more grip, while others do not. Another difference could be that such a sex toy consists only of a straight bar or has a ribbed texture.
